Luciano Fonseca Lemos de Oliveira

PhD in Clinical Medicine (Cardiology) from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP), with a Research Fellow appointment at Hannover Medical School, Germany (20172018). Board-certified Specialist in Adult Intensive Care Physiotherapy (Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, 2022). Currently an Associate Professor and coordinator of the Department of Applied Physiotherapy at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM), and Permanent Faculty in the Graduate Programs in Physiotherapy (UFTM) and in Rehabilitation Sciences at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Clinical and academic experience in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Exercise Testing, and Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, with emphasis on advanced methods for functional and physiological assessment. Conducts clinical and translational research on the effects of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, integrating artificial intelligence and data science for (i) wearable ECG monitoring and heart rate variability analysis; (ii) arrhythmia detection and predictive modeling of outcomes; and (iii) digital health systems focused on interoperability and data security.
