Graduated in Biomedicine from Uberaba University (UNIUBE). Master and PhD in Sciences with an emphasis in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (USP). He has developed an extensive work on the characterization of a new protein involved with basic biological processes and cancer in the Drosophila melanogaster model. He has experience in the technique of histological preparation, expression and purification of recombinant proteins, antibody production, confocal microscopy, qPCR, CRISPR-Cas9, as well as in general techniques in cell and molecular biology. He is currently a pos-doc at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, characterizing myokines released during physical exercise and that have the potential cleavage of beta-amyloid plaques present in Alzheimer's disease using the Drosophila melanogaster model.
