Felipe Rocha is a Brazilian veterinarian with a master's degree in epidemiology applied to zoonoses and animal health from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMVZ-USP), Brazil. He worked at the Pan American Center for Foot-and-Mouth Disease and Veterinary Public Health, of the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PANAFTOSA/VPH-PAHO/WHO) as a Consultant in Technical Cooperation and in Zoonoses, and since 2022 he has acted as Technical Officer for Zoonoses and Veterinary Public Health at PANAFTOSA/VPH-PAHO/WHO. In the last 10 years, it has been working and supporting countries, through technical cooperation, in the development of surveillance and in the implementation of public policies for actions to control neglected zoonoses with an impact on the health of the peoples of the Americas, especially with regard to rabies, envenoming by venomous animals, cysticercosis and One Health policies.
