Farah Maria Drumond Chequer

She graduated in Pharmacy/Biochemistry from the Federal University of Alfenas - UNIFAL in 2006. In 2008, he completed his master's degree in Toxicology from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (FCFRP-USP). In July 2011, she completed his doctorate in Sciences, in the area of concentration: Toxicology at the University of São Paulo (FCFRP-USP), with part of the doctorate being carried out at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in Spain, during the period of April 10th until September 17th, 2010, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ricard Marcos. She has experience in the field of Pharmacy, with an emphasis on forensic toxicology and analysis of illicit drugs; has a partnership with the Civil Police of Divinópolis and Betim, Minas Gerais, where he develops scientific initiation and master's degree work. Additionally, she has experience in Environmental Toxicology, Mutagenesis and Nutrigenomics, working mainly on the following topics: evaluation of the mutagenic and genotoxic activity of dyes and their biotransformation products; oxidation and chemical reduction of compounds; mutagenicity tests: Micronucleus Test; Salmonella/microsome Assay and Mouse Lymphoma Cell Gene Mutation Assay. She completed his post-doctorate, with a FAPESP scholarship, from August 2011 to January 2013, at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo (FCFRP-USP). She was a professor, Pharmacy and Biomedicine courses, at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) from 2013 to 2017. She was a Full Professor at the Fundação Universidade de Itaúna (UIT), Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing courses from February 2013 to April 2018. She is currently Associate Professor I, class C, exclusive dedication, at the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ), teaching Pharmacy, Biochemistry and Medicine courses. She is accredited to the UFSJ / CCO Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences and is editor-in-chief of the Revista do CRF-MG: Brazilian Journal of Pharmacy and Health (BJHP).
