Bachelor of Biological Sciences (2000), master's and PhD (2007) in Molecular Biology Postgraduate Program at UNIFESP; Post-Doctorate in Molecular Biology (2010). He was a Young Researcher scholarship from FAPESP and Affiliated Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at UNIFESP (2010-2013). He was the coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology and Biodiversity (PPGBB) Rede Pró-Centro-Oeste and Program in Biotechnology at UFMS. Productivity researcher scholarship at CNPq since 2013 and Full Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food and Nutrition (FACFAN/UFMS) since 2017. His research focuses on the following topics: cell signaling in hematopoietic stem cells and leukemic stem cells, purinergic receptors, calcium signaling, and antitumor compounds. He has experience in biophysics, biochemistry, pharmacology, and cell biology. He collaborates with several national and international institutions, such as the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, the University of Liverpool, and the University of Groningen.
