Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics, Applied Mathematics and Computing (DEMAC), Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences, Sao Paulo State University (IGCE-UNESP). He graduated in Computer Science at the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP, 2013) and did his Master's degree (2016) and Ph.D. (2021) at the Institute of Mathematical and Computer Sciences of the University of Sao Paulo (ICMC-USP). During his Ph.D., he worked as a visiting scholar at Heriot-Watt University (HWU), Scotland (2020), performing research focused on human behaviour classification based on multimodal signals and applications on biologically-inspired robotics systems. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at ICMC-USP, working with Artificial Intelligence in the context of the Internet of Things. He has experience in Activity Recognition, Deep Learning, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and Robotics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
