Birthplace: Brazil

Associate Professor at Unicamp, with a doctorate in philosophy also from Unicamp, and a visiting scholar at MIT (2010-2011), my main research activity consists of producing bilingual and annotated translations of Wittgenstein's texts (Remarks on Frazer's Golden Bough, Philosophical Investigations, Remarks on the Foundations of Mathematics, and Wittgenstein and the Vienna Circle). I have published national and international articles on Wittgenstein's thought, articles related to the philosophical discussion of psychoanalysis and psychiatry, as well as mathematics education. I am currently leading the project "Decolonizing Wittgenstein" in the PHALA Group, at the Faculty of Education at Unicamp, to whose graduate program I am linked through Line 8. The themes of language with application in the intertwining of ethics with aesthetics, in the discussion of the grammar of psychoanalysis and psychiatry, and in decolonial and undisciplined teaching, especially in mathematics, all in critical correlation with the literary production of Wittgenstein, are my preferred areas of work for graduate supervision.
