J.A.M. Barbuto graduated in Medicine by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo, has a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology, by the ''Escola Paulista de Medicina'' (Federal University of Sao Paulo) and a Ph.D in Immunology by the University of Sao Paulo. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the University of Sao Paulo. He has experience in cellular immunology, focusing in cancer immunotherapy, and studies mainly dendritic cells, their pathophysiology and clinical applications. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
