Sidney Glina

Graduated in Medicine at Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (1977), did Residency in General Surgery (1978-1980) and Urology (1980-1983) at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of USP. He received his doctorate in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (1991). Currently he is: Pro-Dean of Postgraduate Studies, Research and Innovation and Full Professor of the Discipline of Urology at Centro Universitário FMABC, administrative director of Projeto Alfa; director, clinical staff member and urologist at the H. Ellis Institute; Editor-Emeritus of the International Brazilian Journal of Urology and Einstein (São Paulo). He was President of the International Society of Sexual Medicine (2000-2002), President of the Brazilian Society of Urology (2006-2007). President of the Latin American Society of Sexual Medicine (2011-2015). Founder and President of the Brazilian Association for the Study of Impotence (1989-1991). Full Member of the Medicine Academy of São Paulo (30/10/2024) of the chair no. 126, whose patron is Mario Otonni Rezende. He has experience in Medicine area, with emphasis on Urological Surgery, working mainly on the following topics: erectile dysfunction (oral treatment), male infertility, assisted reproduction, and urinary incontinence.
