Bachelor in Music (harpsichord) in the State University of Campinas (2009), in the class of Dr. Edmundo Hora. Master in Music in the same universisty (2013), supervised by Dr. Lenita Nogueira, with the thesis "Principles of observation in three historiographical works on Brazilian Music". PhD. (2018- same institution and advisor), with the dissertation "The traveler in the labyrinth: Fernando Lopes-Graça's critique of exoticism in his works on Brazilian themes". From september 2015 to july 2016 she held a PDSE-CAPES grant to do part of the doctoral research in the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, under the supervision of Dr. Mário Vieira de Carvalho. She is currently a post-doc researcher in the University of São Paulo (Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros), collaborator researcher at CESEM (Centro de Estudos de Sociologia e Estética Musical) - UNL, a member of the research group Música Teoria Crítica e Criação and of the thematic project O Musicar Local (FAPESP-UNICAMP-USP). She was second secretary of ABET (2017-2019) and has recently been elected assistant editor of the journal Música e Cultura. She writes as correspondent in Brazil for the Portuguese music review Glosas. She has been awarded the Cátedra Cascais Interates 2018-2019, for the research project "Fernando Lopes-Graça and Brazilian Modern Literature," developed between october 2018 and may 2019. Lopes is also a classical singer and a member of Coro Contemporâneo de campinas. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
