She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (2005), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from the University of São Paulo (2012), São Carlos campus, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, also in the area of Power Systems, from the University of São Paulo (2017), São Carlos campus. From 2014 to 2018, she was a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of São Paulo, Piracicaba campus. Currently, she is a professor at the Federal University of São Carlos, in the Department of Electrical Engineering, and is part of the faculty of the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at UFSCar. Her research interests include small-signal stability in power systems and active distribution networks, the application of digital signal processing techniques to study angular stability in power systems with high penetration of renewable energy sources, and the parameterization of dynamic equivalents for microgrids (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
