Marcos Francisco Martins

Associate Professor at UFSCar - Sorocaba-SP/DCHE campus (Department of Human Sciences and Education), working as a permanent professor at PPGEd-So (Graduate Program in Education at UFSCar Sorocaba campus). PQ Scholarship (Research Productivity) from CNPq (1D), Coordinator of LEPeCHE/FINEP (Laboratory of Studies and Research in Human Sciences and Education) and former Coordinator of PPGEd-So (2012-2018). Graduated in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas - PUCCAMP (1993), with a master's degree (1999) and doctorate (2004) in Education from the State University of Campinas - Unicamp. He worked at Unifal (Federal University of Alfenas) - Poços de Caldas campus, was Coordinator of the Master's Program in Education at Unisal (2006-2007), former Editor of the Revista de Ciências da Educação (from 2007 to 2010) and of Crítica Educativa (2015-2019), who articulated the creation. Founder and Leader of GPTeFE (Research Group Theories and Fundamentals of Education), he participates in editorial committees of specialized journals in the field of Education and is an ad-hoc consultant for national and international scientific journals, as well as for funding agencies. A member of the National Council of the IGS (International Gramsci Society), with published articles, chapters and books, he has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;research in education (10 funded projects), with an emphasis on fundamentals. Based on the Marxist theoretical-methodological legacy, particularly the bias produced by Antonio Gramsci, he dialogues with themes related to theories of school and non-school education, Historical-Critical Pedagogy and the relationship between citizenship and education. Regarding research funding received, there are the following: 4 consecutive PQ CNPq scholarships (from 2009 - current); 1 research in an international network, funded by the UNDP (United Nations Development Program); 3 researches funded by the Universal Call (CNPq); 1 financing by FINEP (construction of LEPeCHE - Laboratory of Studies and Research in Human Sciences and Ed. - at UFSCar Sorocaba); 1 research, linked to extension, funded by the Ministry of Communications (2012-2013).ORCID: .
