I am a Brazilian social psychologist and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at the State University of Maringá (UEM), Brazil, where I coordinate the Laboratory of Work, Platformization and Health (LATRAPS). My research focuses on the platform economy and digital inequalities in the Global South, with a particular emphasis on Latin America. In 2024, I was a Visiting Research Fellow at Université Paris Cité (Laboratoire de Changement Social et Politique). As a leading voice in data work studies in Brazil, I contributed to The Intercept Brazils investigative series The AI Factory Floor, in collaboration with the AI Accountability Network. In 2023, I received the prestigious Outstanding Early Career Award in Clinical Sociology by the International Sociological Association (ISA) - Clinical Sociology Research Committee. My work bridges platform labor, critical data studies, and extensive field research on data work and platform capitalism across Latin America. I teach courses in humanities and social sciences (social psychology, sociology and media studies), to undergraduate and graduate students (masters and doctoral level). My main teaching interests are Platform Labor and Platform Economy in Latin America, Critical Data Studies and IA, Clinical Sociology and Workers Health. I have a PhD from the Graduate Program in Psychology at UNESP/FCLA and a Master's degree from the same institution with a visiting scholarship at Université Paris Diderot 7 (Laboratoire de Changement Social et Politique), France. I am graduated in Psychology from São Paulo State University (UNESP), with a research scholarship at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I am a member of the Orientation Council and International Correspondent in Brazil at RISC - Réseau International de Sociologie Clinique, member of the Red Internacional de Sociología Clinica - RISC Nodo Sur, and Research Partner at the Diplab research group. Member of the Clinical Sociology Research Committee (RC46) of the International Sociological Association. Currently, in Brazil I am member of the group Dialogues in Clinical Sociology, linked to the University of Brasília - UNB (both registered with CNPq). ORCID 0000-0003-1193-9753.
