PhD in Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the State University of Campinas (FCF - UNICAMP), with a degree in Biological Sciences (UNICAMP) and a technical background in Biochemistry (Etec Conselheiro Antônio Prado - ETECAP). Author of the thesis "Characterization of functional effects of point mutations in NEK1 detected in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis on mitochondria and DNA damage response." During undergraduate studies, gained extensive experience in the field of Immunology, focusing on immunotherapy with dendritic cells in an experimental model of multiple sclerosis, experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE).
