She holds a bachelor's degree in Nursing (2005), a master's degree in Nursing from the Federal University of São Carlos (2010) and a doctorate from the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing of the University of São Paulo, was a FAPESP fellow, held a Sandwich Doctorate with Research Internship Abroad Scholarship (BEPE-FAPESP) at Fachhochschule Köln - Cologne University of Applied Sciences Institut for Technology and Resources Management in the Tropics and Subtropics (ITT) - Germany. She is the second leader of the Group for Operational Studies in Neglected and Emerging Diseases (GEODONE), researcher of the Group for Operational Epidemiological Studies of Tuberculosis (GEOTB) of the Brazilian Network for Research and Fight Against Tuberculosis (REDE TB), of the Study Group for Spatial Analysis in Health (GEANES) of the Faculty of Public Health and the Study Group for Good Practices for the Control of Transmission of Pathogens Related to Health Care of the Nursing Department of the Federal University of São Carlos. He had a paper selected among the best entries for oral presentation at the 45th and 46th World Conference on Lung Health (Barcelona and Cape Town). She has published several papers in journals of selective editorial policy with h-index Scopus 11 and Web of Science 10. She is currently Associate Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Nursing and Adjunct Professor Level 1 of the Department of Nursing, Federal University of São Carlos, working in the discipline of Adult and Elderly Health. She works with the following topics: health-disease process and epidemiology, spatial analysis/geoprocessing in health, tuberculosis and related diseases, mortality and health information systems.
