Graduated in Systems Mathematics at the State University of Campinas, Unicamp, in 1982, is currently Director of Informatics at the Reference Center on Environmental Information, CRIA, where is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of several online information systems, among them the speciesLink network [splink.org.br], INCT-Virtual Herbarium of Flora and Fungi [inct.splink.org.br], Information System on Collections of Biotechnological Interest, SICol [sicol.cria.org.br], Moure's Bee Catalog [moure.cria.org.br], Flora brasiliensis online [fb.cria.org.br], Bioline International [bioline.org.br], Publications of Augusto Chave Batista [batista.fungibrasil.net], Virtual Herbarium of Saint-Hilaire [hvsh.cria.org.br], Virtual Herbarium of Glaziou [glaziou.cria.org.br], Gaps of knowledge of flora and fungi of Brazil [lacunas.inct.florabrasil.net], among others. He was responsible for the design and implementation of the first version of the information system for the generation of the List of Species of Flora of Brazil, today, Flora of Brazil 2020, maintained by the Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro.
