Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, holds a Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine/USP and a Ph.D. in Functional and Molecular Biology from the University of Campinas. A specialist in Molecular Biology, focusing on the molecular and biochemical characterization of proteins related to the cell cycle, apoptosis mechanisms, and mitochondrial processes. Also has extensive experience in biochemistry, including mass spectrometry, protein chemistry, and carbohydrate chemistry. Currently, she is a Researcher in the Virology Department of the National Laboratory of Biosciences, investigating protein-protein interactions to understand virus-host relationships.
