Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), with a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Parasitology from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP). She is a researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ), working at the intersection of epidemiology and data science applied to public health. Her experience includes digital health surveillance, clinical data modeling, and the application of artificial intelligence, including large language models (LLMs), for the analysis of large-scale health data within the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS).
