Graduated at Animal Science from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - B.Sc Animal Science (1986-1990). Master's at Genetics and Animal Breeding from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1997) and PhD at Animal Science and Pastures, from ESALQ - University of São Paulo (2002). She works as a Researcher (since 1994) at the Department of Agriculture and Supply - of São Paulo State - Institute of Animal Science / Center for Sustainable Livestock Research. Conducts research in the area of Animal Science with emphasis on Genetic Improvement and Integration of Genomic Strategies in Animal Production. She was Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Sustainable Animal Production (Institute of Animal Science /APTA) between 2014-2021. She is the coordinator of the Laboratory of Animal Genetics and Genomics of the Sustainable Livestock Research Center of the Animal Science Institute. With funding from CNPq and FAPESP, it coordinates research projects (Special and Thematic Programs and Regular Grants). Participates as a Professor and Advisor of Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Post-Graduate Courses at University of São Paulo - USP (Biological Sciences - Genetics) and at the Institute of Animal Science (Sustainable Animal Production).
