Veterinary Medicine by Universidade Federal Fluminense (2009), with interest in conservation medicine and wildlife rehabilitation. In 2010 began activities with wild animal virus research in the Clinical and Molecular Laboratory of Virology at Biomedical Science Institute, University of São Paulo. In 2014 she graduated as Master of Sciences (Microbiology) by the same laboratory, with the research project 'Study of Influenza virus in seabirds of the Antarctic region' (FAPESP 2012 / 14255-8), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Edison Luiz Durigon. In this laboratory she participated in the capture of wild animals in the field, collection of biological material, and processing of samples by molecular biology in Biosafety Laboratory Level 3+. Participated in scientific expeditions through Brazil (Pará, Maranhão, Pernambuco, Mato Grosso) and Antarctica (Elephant Island: 2010/2011/2012). Between 2014-2016 she was fieldwork coordinator (Amazon) in the research project 'Biodiversity and Functioning of Degraded Forests and in Recovery in the Amazon and in the Atlantic Forest' (FAPESP 2014 / 18471-2), a Brazil-England partnership. In this project she was responsible for planning and controlling the budget, executing the methodologies, controlling the quality of data collected and reports, purchasing materials, disseminating the project among the project's rural producers, and communicating between researchers and international collaborators.
