From 2021 to 2025, worked as a senior postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas at the Universidade de São Paulo (IAG/USP), focusing on climate extremes in river basins and changes in atmospheric moisture transport, within the scope of projects funded by CNPq and ENGIE/ANEEL. Served as a visiting professor at the Departamento de Ciências Ambientais da Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP) from 2019 to 2021, contributing as a lecturer and advisor in the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Análise Ambiental Integrada. From 2008 to 2018, was a researcher at the Universidad de Vigo (Spain), developing Lagrangian analyses of atmospheric moisture transport. Between 2015 and 2018, coordinated the project "Sequías y el Transporte de Humedad", under the Programa Estatal de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación Orientada a los Retos de la Sociedad (modalidad Jóvenes Investigadores), funded by the Government of Spain. Participated in the academic staff of the Máster en Ciencias del Clima (20092014) and the Máster Universitario en Oceanografía (20172018). Has experience in the fields of Meteorology and Climatology, with emphasis on climate statistical analysis, atmospheric moisture transport, climate variability and extremes, ocean-atmosphere interaction, and general circulation models.
