Sandra Maria Pereira da Silva

Engineering at the University of Taubaté UNITAU (1991); Master in Agronomy - Plant Physiology from the Federal University of Lavras - UFLA (1994) and PhD in Agronomy - Horticulture of Medicinal Plants/Ethnobotany from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences UNESP in Botucatu (2003). From 2005 to date, she holds the position of scientific researcher at APTA Regional de Pindamonhangaba, of the Paulista Agency of Agribusiness Technology, belonging to the Secretary of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo. She develops research activities in the following areas: phytotechnics of medicinal and aromatic, native and exotic plants; ethnobotany of medicinal plants; public policies for medicinal plants and phytotherapy in the public health network; production of essential oils and hydrosols for different applications such as agricultural inputs, gastronomy/cooking, aromatherapy, natural cosmetics, among others.
