Reginaldo Barboza da Silva

Graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid, UFERSA (1995). He completed the Master's (1998) and Doctorate (2002) courses in Agronomy (area of concentration of Soils and Plant Nutrition) by the Federal University of Lavras / UFLA. With funding from FAPESP, completed three post-doctorates (2003 and 2005), of which two in Agronomy (area of concentration in Energy in Agriculture) by São Paulo State University/ UNESP and the third (2004), in Agricultural Engineering (Water and Soil Engineering, by the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM / Spanish).He carried out exchanges and post-doc internships, of which those in the areas of Edafology and Agricultural Chemistry, at the University of A Coruña (Spain) and Agricultural Hydrology and Hydraulics, by the University of Córdoba (Spain), financed by CAPES, Fundación Agrisus and Fundación Carolina. He was a researcher and collaborating professor at FEAGRI/UNICAMP (2011 to 2016) and CNPq productivity fellow (2013-2015). He is a Associate Professor at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), in the areas of Physics and Soil and Water Conservation.Within the University (UNESP), he is an Full Professor and responsible for the subjects of "Soil Physics"; "Use, Management and Conservation of Soil" and "Genesis, Morphology and Classification of Soil", in undergraduate education. At graduate, he works in the programs Environmental Science and Technology, "Sustainability in Environmental Management" and Soil Science.Among other functions, he was Director of the Faculty (2013 to 2017), member of the Course councils and Director; Junior Company tutor (ECAP Jr.); chairman of the Permanent Research Committee, chairman of the Laboratories and Waste Committee; member of the internationalization committee, member of the institutional committee of PIBIC / PIBITI and member of the scientific committee and organizer of CIC / UNESP. Outside the University (UNESP), he is an accredited professor and responsible for the discipline Soil Quality in Protected and Modified Environments at UFSCAR's PPG / SGA; collaborates with PPG of Agricultural Engineering at UNICAMP / FEAGRI, being responsible for the discipline Structural Evaluation of Agricultural Soils: test methods and technologies. He has been an ad hoc consultant for INEPE (Ministry of Education) since 2006; ad-hoc consultant to funding agencies (FAPESP, CNPq, among others) and several specialized and interdisciplinary journals; He is a full member of the Technical Chamber of the Water Resource Fund (CBH-RB).It has a bibliographic production of over 200 works, distributed among articles published in specialized journals, book chapters and publications in the annals of events. Participated in more than 100 national and international events, in organization and presentation of works. Oriented and, or co-supervised more than 100 works in the scope of undergraduate and graduate courses.His research is focused on the areas of Agronomy and Agricultural Engineering with an emphasis on applied soil physics, soil conservation and soil mechanics and dynamics.He has worked on the following themes: indicators of soil quality in protected and modified environments; modeling of load bearing capacity and rupture of agricultural soilsibilidade, compactação, pressão de preconsolidação, compactação do solo and manejo do solo.
