Professor at the Faculty of History of PUC-Campinas and the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Sciences of Religion, by the same University, with projects integrated to the Research Line: Religious Phenomenon: institution and discursive practices. She holds a PhD in History from the State University of Campinas (2000) and a post-doctorate in the same area from USP (2007), with a project integrated to the thematic group: Brazil: Formation of the State and the Nation. He holds a degree in Economic Sciences from the State University of Campinas (1993) and a master's degree in History from the State University of Campinas (1996). Has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;History, with emphasis on História do Brasil Império. Currently, he develops research in the area of #8203;#8203;History of Religions and History of Concepts, with research focused on the articulation of the religious and political phenomena in the construction of the Brazilian national state, in the 19th century. She is a researcher for the Iberoamerican Conceptual History Project (Iberconceptos) and coordinator of the WG "Religion and Power in 19th century Brazil", linked to the Brazilian Association of the History of Religions.
