is professor of Chemistry at Chemistry Institute/Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), Brazil, since 2009. He received the graduation in Industrial Chemistry at IQ/UNESP in 1990 and MSc. in Science (Inorganic Chemistry) at IQ/UNESP in 1993. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry) from IQ/UNESP in 1997. He was postdoctoral researcher at IQ/UNESP in 1999-2001, Institut Européen des Membranes, Université Montpellier 2 (IEMM, CNRS, UM2, ENSCM) in 2001-2002 and Instituto Militar de Engenharia (IME) in 2003-2004. He was young research of FAPESP at FEIS/UNESP (2005-2009). The main interests are in Inorganic Chemistry and its applications in Materials Science, Spectroscopy and Education in Chemistry. Ongoing research projects deal with porous materials and luminescent markers for medicine, controlled release of drugs and nanocosmetics. He is author or co-author of diverse book chapters, scientific papers and communications in congress related to this field. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
