Adriana C. Girardi received a B.A. in Pharmacology and Biochemistry (1996) and a Ph.D. (2002) in Physiology at University of São Paulo. From 2002 to 2005, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Aronson lab (Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Nephrology, Yale University). Currently, she is a principal investigator in the Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Cardiology, Incor, HC-USP and Professor at FMUSP. She has experience in Renal Physiology, Cardiorenal Pharmacology and Biochemistry. Her major scientific interest is understanding blood pressure regulation and cardiovascular disease.
