Marcos Sarmet Moreira de Barros Salomão

Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Environmental Sciences of the Center for Biosciences and Biotechnology, State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro Darcy Ribeiro.I hold a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences (1997) and a master's degree in Biosciences and Biotechnology (2000) from the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro Darcy Ribeiro and a Ph.D. in Sciences from the University of São Paulo - CENA (2004). I have experience in the field of Ecosystem Ecology, with an emphasis on aquatic biogeochemistry, mainly working on the following topics: functioning of aquatic ecosystems, the relationship between land use and water and sediment quality, environmental monitoring.
