Caio Jordão Teixeira holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Maringá (2011), and a Masters degree in Sciences Human Physiology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB/USP, 2014), where he worked in the Intracellular Signaling Laboratory. He completed his Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, State University of Campinas (FCM/UNICAMP, 2019), in the Laboratory of Pathophysiology and Pharmacology of Diabetes Mellitus. From 2020 to 2025, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Molecular Biology Laboratory at ICB/USP, including an international research internship in 2023 at the Quebec Heart and Lung Institute (IUCPQ-UL) in Canada. His research has focused on menopause, insulin resistance, aging, pregnancy, lactation, pancreatic beta-cell function, and obesity.
