Graduated in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Construction Systems from the Federal University of São Carlos (1997). Master's in Architecture and Urbanism with an emphasis on Built Environment Technology from the University of São Paulo (2000). Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2005). Postdoctoral researcher in Civil Engineering at UFSCar (2018). Associate Professor in Panel Production at the São Paulo State University (UNESP) - Campus Itapeva, where she teaches Strength of Materials, Panel Production I and II for the Industrial Wood Engineering course. She is registered as a supervisor in the Graduate Program of the Faculty of Engineering of Guaratinguetá - FEG/UNESP, where she supervises master's and doctoral students, and teaches courses on Characteristics, Properties, and Applications of Lignocellulosic Materials, as well as Thermal, Electrical, and Acoustic Properties of Wood. She develops research and technological projects in the development of lignocellulosic composite materials with national and international partnerships and wood-based panel industries. She conducts studies on the Life Cycle Analysis of engineered wood products with Professor Alfredo Manuel Pereira Geraldes Dias, a faculty member and researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Coimbra.
