Post-doctorate in Aesthetics at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris (1997-2000). Professor of the Institute of Psychology of USP (since 1971) . Professor and acting advisor of the Postgraduate Program in Aesthetics and Art History of USP (since 2006). Effective member and senior analyst of the Brazilian Society of Psychoanalysis of São Paulo (SBPSP), and of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA - London). Member of the Brazilian Federation of Psychoanalysis (FEBRAPSI) and of the Latin American Federation of Psychoanalysis (FEPAL). Member of the Brazilian Association of Art Critics (ABCA) and of the Association Internationale des Critiques d'Art (AICA). Member of the Euro-Latin American Psychosomatics School (Moscow / Russia). He has experience of research in the interdisciplinary field Art-Aesthetics-Psychoanalysis, with emphasis in Foundations and Critic of the Arts. He is the author of books and articles on subjects related mainly to the following themes: Body, Art and Pain; Aesthetics and Psychoanalysis in the Clinical context;; Phenomenology of the work of art, Psychoanalysis and Aesthetics of Reception.
