Hi! Welcome to my lattes curriculum! My research interests gravitate around arithmetic questions involving Division Algebras, the Brauer group and Algebraic K-theory. I am a major and a Master's degree in Computer Science from University of São Paulo (1999, 2002), and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Emory University (2006). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)

In this project, we propose to study Bloch's and Kato's Class Field Theory. More specifically, we study the papers of Bloch and Saito describing the abelianized fundamental group (i.e. the Galois group of the maximum unramified abelian extension of the function field of X) of a nonsingular projective curve X over a local field.
