BSc in Biology at the Mackenzie University (2004) and PhD in Ecology at the University of São Paulo (2010). In 2012, I was awarded with an honorary mention for the best PhD Thesis in Biodiversity (Prêmio CAPES de Tese). Following my Ph.D., I completed postdoctoral research at the University of São Paulo (FFLCRP and ESALQ). Currently, I am Professor at the Department of Entomology and Acarology, ESALQ-USP. My main research interests focus on biological, ecological and evolutionary aspects of social bees, providing guidelines for breeding and management, sustainable use and conservation of these pollinators.
