Pharmacist graduated from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (2002), holds a PhD in Biochemical-Pharmaceutical Technology from the same institution (2006), with a sandwich period at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, Cambridge, USA). Associate professor (FCF/UNICAMP, 2016). Since 2008, she has been a faculty member of the Pharmacy program at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). She coordinates the Laboratory of Pharmaceutics and Health Care (LaFateCS @lafatecs.unicamp), with research interests in: (i) development of topical and transdermal pharmaceutical forms using nanostructures; (ii) use of natural and synthetic compounds as active ingredients and excipients; (iii) proposing innovative formulations aimed at improved therapeutic efficacy; and (iv) investigating new presentations of Cannabis sativa to enhance treatments, expand the therapeutic arsenal, and benefit a larger number of people. She served as Coordinator of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Program (20162020) and as Associate Director of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UNICAMP (20202024).
