received his BSc degree in Physical Therapy from the Paulista State University (UNESP) in 2004 and a Master of Science degree (M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering) from the University of Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, in 2007. In 2011, he received his Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience from the University of Sao Paulo (USP). In 2012, he stayed as a post-doctoral researcher (FAPESP's Post-Doctoral fellowship) at the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory at University of Sao Paulo (USP). Currently, he holds an Associate Professor Position at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of University of São Paulo (EACH-USP). His research focuses on the neural control of human movement and posture, spanning basic science to translational application, including neural responses to injury and disease. He has been interested in exploring central and peripheral influences on reflex responses (H-reflex, F-waves, V-waves) as well as in studying the control of human movement and posture in different challenging situations and with altered sensory feedback.
