Mauro Zackiewicz

I were part of the Laboratory for Studies on Organization of Research and Innovation (GEOPI) from 1997 to 2014. I worked as a technological prospecting consultant at the CGEE (Center for Management and Strategic Studies) in Brasília, with an emphasis on the energy and water resources sectors. I were area director at Fapesp between 2006 and 2007 for Engineering, Exact and Earth Sciences. As a founding partner of Elabora Informática and, later, of Elabora Consultoria, I actively participated between 2004 and 2011 in assessing the feasibility and impacts of technological projects in several companies, with emphasis on Oxiteno, Braskem, Sabesp, CPFL, Citrosuco, Sadia/BRF and Embrapa, and the development of computational tools for data and text mining. Between 2012 and 2014 I were coordinator of the "Digital Ecosystems" component of the Brasil TI Maior Program led by MCTI and carried out at CTI in Campinas. I am fluent in programming in Python and JavaScript. Between 2017 and 2019 I were coordinator of the Innovation Advisory at Centro Paula Souza and began to actively promote technical and technological education, being co-creator and disseminator of the API methodology - Learning through Integrated Projects. Between 2020 and 2021 I carried out a post-doctorate at ITA with the application of regionalized input-output matrices to evaluate the economic impacts of airport infrastructure. I am currently a visiting specialist at ITA, working in data mining and artificial intelligence, member of the Advanced Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) and consultant for the startup DEEP ESG.
