She holds a degree and a master's degree in Nursing from the State University of Campinas (2005) and a PhD in Nursing from the University of São Paulo (2014), with experience of a doctoral internship at the School of Nursing and Midwifery - King's College London (2013). She has experience in teaching, research and extension in the area of #8203;#8203;Public Health, working mainly on the following topics: health care model, work process, health education, health promotion, health of the black population and anti-racist health education. She worked as a professor of undergraduate and master's degrees in Nursing at the School of Nursing and Pharmacy of the Federal University of Alagoas (2008-2017); as a tutor at PET-Saúde (2009-2017); and as leader of the REDE group of Research and Practice in Work, Education and Public Health (2014-2017). Currently, she is a full professor at the undergraduate and graduate master's and doctoral courses at the Faculty of Nursing at the State University of Campinas. She is leader of the Group of Studies and Research in Education and Practices of Nursing and Health-GEPEPES and of the Uhayele Group of Studies on Racial Issues and Health.
