Juliana Mesquita Hidalgo Ferreira

She has a bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas, a master's degree in History of Science (FAPESP scholarship holder) and a PhD in Philosophy/Philosophy of Science (FAPESP scholarship holder) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. She completed post-doctoral internships at UNICAMP (FAPESP scholarship holder) and PUC-SP (FAPESP scholarship holder). She is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Physics at UFRN. She works as a researcher and advisor in the Postgraduate Program in Teaching Natural Sciences and Mathematics and in the National Professional Master's Degree in Physics Teaching - UFRN Pole. She has contributions mainly in the areas of History of Science, History and Philosophy of Science in Teaching and Nature of Science. He is a member of the History, Theory and Science Teaching Group at the University of São Paulo (www.ghtc.usp.br) and the Research Group on Physics and Astronomy Teaching (UFRN).
