Specialization in Terminology from the Institut Universitari de Lingüística Aplicada at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). Currently she is a professor in the Department of Languages and Literature at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), specializing in Linguistics. She coordinates the research project "Neology: lexical, cultural aspects, and automatic extraction" and the extension project "Neoscópio - Neologism Laboratory".
