Obtained a Bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universidade Federal de São Paulo - Unifesp (1999), and a PhD in Psychobiology from the same institution (Unifesp, 2004). Trained as a Post-doctoral fellow at Tufts University (Boston, MA, USA) with research in the area of psychopharmacology of drug abuse and aggression (2006-2009). Since 2010 she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychobiology, at Escola Paulista de Medicina, EPM - Unifesp. She develops research projects in Psychopharmacology, with focus on Neuropsicopharmacology and main interests in: neurobiology and neuropharmacology of drug abuse and dependence; social stress, behavioral pharmacology, and aggression. Served as Dean of Undergraduate Studies in Unifesp (from 2017 to 2021) and Chief of Staff in the Rectory of Unifesp (2021-2022). Currently acts as Advisor for Academic Relations within the Rectory Staff (since October 2022), also serving as institutional coordinator for the undergraduate research scholarship program (PIBIC, since 2022).
