Abstract
The upper Miocene Solimões Formation has been so long studied in the sedimentary basin of Acre. Outcrops of the major rivers of Acre has evidenced a rich and diverse fossil fauna, composed of molluscs (bivalves and gastropods), small and large mammals, reptiles and birds, as well as angiosperms logs.
