Graduated as DDS from Bauru Dental School, University of São Paulo (USP) in 1997; MSc in Dentistry (Pediatric Dentistry) from Bauru Dental School, USP (2001); PhD in Dentistry (Cariology) from Piracicaba Dental School, UNICAMP (2005); post-doctoral researcher from Piracicaba Dental School, UNICAMP (2007); associate professor from Piracicaba Dental School, UNICAMP (2012). Her current research area involves the composition of the fluid of cariogenic dental biofilme and mechanism of action and toxicity of fluoride. Past-president of the Cariology Research Group of IADR (International Association for Dental Research) and current membership secretary of ORCA (European Organisation for Caries Research).
