Rodrigo Elias Bianchi holds a doctorate and a master's degree in Computer Science at the University of São Paulo (2008 and 2003) and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the State University of Western Paraná (2000). Has experience in Artificial Intelligence, acting on the following subjects: Machine Learning; Location, Mapping and Navigation of Autonomous Mobile Robots; Unmanned Aerial Vehicles; Knowledge Extraction from SVMs; Radio Frequency Identification (RFID); Intelligent Supply Chain; Mobile Development and Internet of Things. He has almost 10 years of professional, non-academic experience in software development and information technology consulting. Noteworthy is his role as product development manager at COSS Consulting, where he also consulted for companies such as Goodyear, Husqvarna, Volkswagen, Copacafé, Sensormatic, in addition to public sector institutions such as the Brazilian Air Force Command. He also worked on publicly-funded projects (FAPESP, CNPq and FINEP), developing innovative software products. Currently he works as a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo, where in addition to teaching in technical and higher courses in the Computing area, he also guides lato-sensu graduate work in developing systems for mobile devices.
