Thoracic radiologist, associate professor at the Bauru School of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMBRU-USP). Graduated, completed medical residency and postgraduate studies at the Ribeirão Preto School of Medicine (FMRP-USP) and its Hospital das Clínicas (HCFMRP-USP), fellow at Emory University in Atlanta (USA) and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Heidelberg (Germany). Coordinator of the Medical Residency Program in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at HCFMRP-USP, chief physician at the Center for Imaging Sciences and Medical Physics, and a professor at the Foundation for Support for Teaching, Research and Assistance of HCFMRP-USP (FAEPA). Currently the first secretary of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR), scientific coordinator of the area of #8203;#8203;Education and Introduction to Research of the São Paulo Society of Radiology (SPR), and member of the scientific committee of the Department of Pathology of the Brazilian Society of Pulmonology and Tisiology. Full advisor for the postgraduate program at FMRP-USP and an associate researcher at this institution. Also a member of the Board of the Department of Medicine, the Course Coordinating Committee and the Congregation of FMBRU-USP, as well as the technical responsible physician for the Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Center of the Hospital das Clínicas de Bauru (FAEPA/USP).
