Graduated in Medicine from the State University of Campinas (1981), Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the State University of Campinas (1995) and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Kansas in ecology of infectious diseases. Currently associate professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, State University of Campinas with experience in public health with emphasis in epidemiology of infectious diseases. Area of expertise: epidemiology of zoonosis, HIV, arbovirus, and respiratory infections. Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Public Health / FCM / Unicamp 2016-2018.
