Luciana de Oliveira Royer holds a Bachelor (1995), Master of Science (2003), and PhD (2009) in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo. During her MSc, developed a research entitled ?Housing Policy in the State of São Paulo: A study about CDHU?. As her PhD thesis, developed the research ?Financialisation of Housing Policy: limits and perspectives?. She is Research Fellow at Housing and Human Settlements Lab (LabHab) since its foundation, in 1997 at the Architecture and Urbanism School of the University of São Paulo (FAU-USP). She was Project Manager at the Brazilian Cities Ministry, and Executive Secretary at the São Paulo City?s Housing Council. She is member of technical teams in local and federal public administrations in Brazil, with experience in housing and urban policy, urban and regional planning, and public policies management. Held public office as architect at the Caixa Econômica Federal, Brazilian public bank, where has practiced supervision and coordination functions in special programs sector. She was Professor at the Public Policies Management undergraduate program at the University of São Paulo.
