Simone Mendonça

Has B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the State University of Londrina (1993), M. Sc. in Food Science and Technology from the Universiteit Gent (1997) and M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology from State University of Londrina (1997) and D.Sc. Public Health from University of São Paulo (2006). Currently is researcher A at EMBRAPA-Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation of Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Suply, at Agroenergy Area, specialist in byproducts and residues. Has experience in Food Science and Technology, Biochemistry of food and biomass, acting on the following subjects: byproducts, biofuels, palm oil, macauba, algae, mushroom, bioactives compounds (toxic and antioxidants), carotene.
