Wanderlã Luis Scopel

He is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Physics at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). He holds a degree in Physics from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (1995), a Master's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (1998) and a PhD in Physics from the University of São Paulo (2002). Effective member of the Brazilian Society of Physics. He has experience in Condensed Matter Physics, with emphasis on Electronic Structure and Atomistic Computational Simulation of Materials, working mainly on the following topics: Nanostructured Materials, Van der Waals Crystals, Defects in semiconductor materials, surfaces and interfaces.
