Marcio Santos de Santana

Associate Professor in the Department of History, in the area of #8203;#8203;Theory of History and Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Social History at the State University of Londrina. He develops research activities related to the line of research Political Space and Identities, focusing on the following themes: (i) Theory and Methodology of History; (ii) Historiography and Historical Reason; (iii) Actors and Subjects, Identities and Subjectivations; (iv) The Ages of Life and Historicity; (v) History and International Relations. He holds a PhD in Economic History and a degree in History (bachelor's and licentiate's degrees) from the University of São Paulo (USP). He has performed several activities in university administration, with emphasis on: (i) direction of the Center for Documentation and Historical Research of the State University of Londrina (NDPH/UEL); (ii) representation of the Center for Letters and Human Sciences (CLCH) on the Ethics Committee for Research Involving Human Beings of UEL.
