Degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Southwest Bahia - UESB (2010). Master in Genetics, Biodiversity and Conservation from UESB (2012). PhD in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar - SP (2016-commendation). He was a Junior Post-Doctoral Researcher, CNPq, linked to the Postgraduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology (PPGGBM) at the State University of Santa Cruz - UESC, in Ilhéus, BA between 2019 and 2020; Postdoctoral at PPGGBM (2018-2019); Post-Doctorate PDJ-CNPq (2016-2018) and Post-Doctorate (PNPD-CAPES) (2016-2016) in the same program and institution. He is currently a Full Professor at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology Education of Bahia (IFBA), Ubaitaba campus, holding the position of Teaching Director-DIREN. He was the Research and Extension coordinator at the latter campus. He was also Professor and Coordinator of the Biofuels Course at IFBA, Irecê Campus. He was Substitute Professor of Biology at the Federal Institute of Tocantins-IFTO (2021-2022). He was a part-time Professor at the Guanambi University Center-UNIFG (2018-2021). Furthermore, he was a substitute Professor of Biology at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Baiano - IFBAIANO, Uruçuca Campus between 2017 and 2018.
