Silvia Helena Valente

Ph.D. in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Public Health Nursing at the Ribeirão Preto School of Nursing, University of São Paulo (EERP-USP). Holds a Masters degree in Nursing from Universidade Guarulhos (UNG). Specialist in Aesthetic Nursing - Dermaticist from Faculdade Mário Schenberg, in Family Health from Faculdade de Medicina do ABC (FMABC), and in Protein-Energy Malnutrition and Nutritional Recovery from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). Bachelor's degree in Nursing from EERP-USP. Has experience as a manager in hospitals, primary healthcare units, and healthcare networks. Has worked as a lecturer in undergraduate Nursing and Psychology programs, as well as in postgraduate (lato sensu) programs in Nursing and Aesthetics. Currently a collaborating researcher in the projects "Cost and effectiveness of the telecare system strategy for people affected by tuberculosis" and "Care transition from hospital to home: continuity of care in the Health Care Network", both linked to EERP-USP.
